October 8

October 8 was the day of “Kanro” or Cold dew under the 24 sekki (seasonal divides) calendar. Around this time of the year, dews start to freeze due to cold air and winter birds begin to migrate to Japan while autumn insects such as crickets stop chirping. It’s getting cooler and cooler day by day so please take care of yourself not to catch a cold!
